Pastoral Refreshment Conference 2013

We were deeply grateful to God for two thrilling conferences in Feb. 2012. Go on over to the downloads page to listen to the talks. With its deep emphasis on experiencing God's grace, the annual Pastoral Refreshment Conference is regularly described as an essential oasis where church leaders and their spouses can receive from the Lord for the the refreshment of life and ministry and this year was no exception.

The Pastoral Refreshment Conference is continuing to expand, so in 2013 we plan to repeat this year's schedule and run two conferences back to back.

What will I gain from the conference?

This year's theme is being adopted by God. How does rejoicing in being children of the Heaven Father fan into flame our spiritual walks? You can expect inspiring preaching and great, practical seminars for your spiritual walk and spiritual leadership. There will be plenty of space for spending time with God and opportunites to form close bonds of friendship with others in leadership.

Who is speaking?

Cassells and Hazel Morell come from Dublin where Cassells pastors Hillside Evangelical Church, Greystones and Hazel teaches courses on personal spirituality at the Irish Bible Institute. They also well known conference speakers across Europe, where they work with the International Fellowship of Evangelical students.

The Morells are well known for their teaching on grace and sonship which has helped many churches and leaders grasp the gospel in a fresh and compelling way. Cassells writes "by the time our children were teenagers my self-righteousness had squeezed most of the life out of our marriage, but of course I had no idea! Grasping the gospel of grace is the thing that heped us understand our different sin patters and allowed God to bring healing and new life."

Is the conference for me?

The conference is mainly intended for full time Christian leaders and spouses. However, if you carry significant leadership responsibility in your church, for example as an elder or church warden, you are also very welcome. If you aren't a leader in your church, why not think about blessing your leaders by paying for them to come?

We will only be able to refund fees in the event of weather or similar disruption if the event as a whole is cancelled or curtailed, and we have taken out event insurance to cover such eventualities.
