Marcus Honeysett to transition into new emeritus role in 2025

We are delighted to announce the transition of our founder and Chief Executive, Marcus Honeysett, to a new emeritus role, within the coming year.

Under Marcus' leadership, what began as few informal conversations with local church leaders has blossomed into a robust Network of support and resources, serving over 450 leaders and spouses in the 2023/24 financial year alone (representing over 200 churches). After almost 20 years at the helm, Marcus feels it is time to hand over the reins to new leadership, who can take the organisation onwards:

"I am delighted and amazed at all we have seen the Lord do through Living Leadership in the first chapter of the life of the ministry. It has been an immense privilege to lead this organisation to this point and believe there are many wonderful opportunities ahead. I have been sensing for a while it is time to pass the baton to a new leader who can take this vital organisation forward into all the Lord is preparing. I am looking forward to seeing who the Lord will raise up to lead the organisation into this new season and serving with them in my new role".

We would welcome your prayers for the trustees as they begin the process of recruitment for our new Chief Executive. And please pray for all of us at Living Leadership as we walk by faith, hand in hand with the Lord for whatever he has planned for the next season of this ministry as we continue to strive to support more Christian leaders and their spouses to live in Christ joyfully and serve him faithfully.
