Mike completed his ordination training at Oak Hill in 1994, and went on to complete a Masters in Biblical Studies at Oak Hill in 2004.  Having worked in suburban and rural ministries, he is now Vicar of St Peter’s Tunbridge Wells. In 2020, Mike completed BCUK’s certificate course in biblical counselling and he has worked with individuals and couples with a variety of issues.

With over 3 decades in ministry, Mike knows that it’s impossible to separate the minister and their ministry and that the relationship between the two is often complex. Mike encourages his mentees to explore this interrelationship from a biblical and Christ-centred perspective, deepening their understanding of themselves and their responses to ministry situations. This forms a foundation from which to explore how the minister and ministry might develop.

Mike is a golf-loving husband (always up for a game!), father & grandad.
